Tips on visiting Walt Disney World #1

Okay!  Having visited the Walt Disney World Resort numerous times and being a super Disney Fan, I feel that I can share some of my Disney knowledge on visiting WDW!

First of all, the best time of year to visit WDW (for me) was in September.  I have been in April, August, and September, and September was by far the least busiest and had the best weather!!
So far, our favorite resort at WDW has been Port Orleans French Quarter.  When we first started visiting WDW, we always stayed "value" b/c we thought- We are not in the room that much, just to sleep at night, so why pay more?  Well, we decided to venture out on one trip to WDW and stay at a moderate resort.  We LOVED it!!!  It was quiet, the pool and food court was awesome, the buses were not busy (most of the time it was just our family and a couple of other families on the bus, except of course at park closings...and then all the buses were busy).  It was definitely worth the higher cost!!

Lets talk about the different accommodations at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Value Resorts:
All Star Movies, All Star Music, All Star Sports, Pop Century, and a new resort coming soon: Art of Animation.

Moderate Resorts:
Port Orleans Riverside, Port Orleans French Quarter, Caribbean Beach, Coronado Springs, Fort Wilderness Cabins.

Deluxe Resorts:
Animal Kingdom Lodge, Boardwalk Inn, Contemporary Resort, Grand Floridian, Wilderness Lodge, Yacht Club and Beach Club, Polynesian, Swan, and Dolphin

Disney Vacation Club/ Deluxe Villas:
Old Key West, Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa, Boardwalk, Bay Lake Tower at Contemporary, Animal Kingdom Villas, Villas at Wilderness Lodge, Beach Club Villas, Kidani Village at Animal Kingdom Lodge, Tree House Villas at Saratoga Springs

So far, we have stayed at All Star Music, All Star Movies, Pop Century, and Port Orleans French Quarter.  On our next trip to WDW in 2012, we are planning to stay at Saratoga Springs!

...to be continued.

MOMMA!!!

I am a mother of 2 beautiful babies : Ariana, age 8 and Ethan, age 6.  I have been married to my wonderful husband, Michael for 9 years now.  Life is great!!  I am extremely thankful for my family, friends, job (even though I’d rather have a different job, I am still thankful nevertheless), my church, my home, and all that comes with this life I live everyday.
I am 29 years old and trying to get my associates degree in Accounting.  I often question why I picked that field to study, because I am not very smart in Math.  But I am half-way finished with my degree, so I might as well go for the gold.
My children keep me busy all the time!  It’s always something to do.  I work Monday - Friday 8:30 to 5:00, pick up the kids from dance and daycare, get home at 6 (on “normal’ days), cook dinner, do homework, clean house, eat dinner, bathe kids, clean house again, listen to “MOMMA!!”, make sure little teeth are brushed, prayers said, stories read, and kids are tucked in, then I have some Mommy time and workout.  I like to try to squeeze in a little HGTV before hitting the sack.
Right now, as I type, I hear “MOMMA!!” and it is almost time for little ones to be in the bed so I guess I will sign off for now!
